The Concert “Bells”: Songs by Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky at the Russian House

At the Russian House in Belgrade, Jasmina Trumbetaš Petrović and Mina Ristić Jonić performed a programme of songs by Sergei Rachmaninoff and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

The concert “Bells” took place on 22 December 2023 at the Russian House in Belgrade. Soprano Jasmina Trumbetaš Petrović and pianist Mina Ristić Jonić, as piano collaborator, performed a programme of songs by Sergei Rachmaninoff and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The concert was held in cooperation with AnimArt and with the support of the City of Belgrade Secretariat for Culture.

Rachmaninoff’s romances are among the most demanding works in the vocal repertoire for piano collaborators, as their piano parts are often developed almost to the level of a solo part. This repertoire brought Mina Ristić Jonić’s pianism especially to the fore.
