Classical Music Concert at the Castle of Culture in Vrnjačka Banja

As part of a project dedicated to the musical literacy of children and young people in Vrnjačka Banja, Mina Ristić Jonić performed as piano collaborator to soprano Jasmina Trumbetaš Petrović and tenor Saša Božidarević at the “Belimarković” Castle of Culture.

On 11 June 2022, the “Belimarković” Castle of Culture in Vrnjačka Banja hosted a classical music concert aimed above all at a young audience. The concert was part of the project “Through Synergy with Top Artists to Quality Musical Literacy of the Children and Youth of Vrnjačka Banja”, carried out by the Centre for Children and Youth Vrnjačka Banja in cooperation with the Vrnjačka Banja Cultural Centre, with financial support from the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.

Pianist Mina Ristić Jonić appeared as piano collaborator to soprano Jasmina Trumbetaš Petrović and tenor Saša Božidarević, a native of Vrnjačka Banja. The special guests were clarinettist Darko Perčević and pianist Ilija Lazarević, also as piano collaborator.

The programme combined Serbian art song with operatic and concert repertoire: works by Stanislav Binički, Miloje Milojević, Petar Konjović, Dimitrije Golemović and Miroljub Aranđelović Rasinski, alongside pieces by Puccini, Donizetti, Cardillo, De Curtis, Weber and Saint-Saëns. A workshop for young people was also part of the programme.
