The piano trio of Mina Ristić Jonić (piano), Isidora Marjanović (violin) and Natalija Tipsarević (cello) performed two of Mozart’s piano trios at the National Museum in Kraljevo and at the LAG Gallery in Belgrade.

In early December 2021, pianist Mina Ristić Jonić presented the programme “An Evening of Mozart” to audiences in Kraljevo and Belgrade, in a piano trio with violinist Isidora Marjanović and cellist Natalija Tipsarević. The first concert took place on 1 December at the gallery of the National Museum in Kraljevo, and the second on 6 December at the LAG Gallery in the Galerija shopping centre in Belgrade.

The programme featured two piano trios by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: the Trio in B-flat major, K. 502 (Allegro, Larghetto, Allegretto) and the Trio in C major, K. 548 (Allegro, Andante cantabile, Allegro). Both works date from Mozart’s mature years, and the piano part carries much of the musical argument, giving Mina Ristić Jonić a particularly demanding role in the ensemble.

The Kraljevo portal Krug covered the concert at the National Museum and published its recording, describing Mozart’s music as “synonymous with classical serenity, balance, harmony and perfection, yet also containing something unsettling, tragic and philosophical.”

For Mina Ristić Jonić and Isidora Marjanović, the concerts continued their long-standing chamber partnership, this time in an expanded line-up with Natalija Tipsarević, with whom they also performed at “An Evening of Sonatas” at the end of January 2022.
