Mina Ristić in a Video Interview for “Trčanje za kulturom”

In a conversation for the video blog “Trčanje za kulturom” (Running for Culture), pianist Mina Ristić spoke about her musical beginnings, her studies, her chamber partnership with violinist Isidora Marjanović and Azerbaijani music. The interview closes with a premiere recording from Azer Rzayev’s Sonata.
In July 2020 the video blog “Trčanje za kulturom” (TzK) published a conversation with pianist Mina Ristić, filmed at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. The episode of the “TzK Razgovori” series is devoted to her artistic path and her work in chamber music.
Mina Ristić talked about her musical beginnings, her piano and chamber music studies at the Faculty of Music and her partnership with violinist Isidora Marjanović (then Dramićanin), with whom she has performed as a duo for years. A special part of the conversation is devoted to Azerbaijani music, which Mina Ristić also explores in her doctoral studies in the arts.
The episode ends with a premiere recording of an excerpt from the first movement of the Sonata for Violin and Piano by Azerbaijani composer Azer Rzayev, performed by Mina Ristić and Isidora Marjanović. It was the first public glimpse of the repertoire with which the duo performed their final doctoral art project a few months later.
