As part of the Kolarac Podium for Chamber Music, pianists Zarife Ali-zade, professor at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, and Mina Ristić, a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, had a performance on 5 May 2019 at the Concert Hall of the Kolarac Endowment. As part of the programme they performed piano duos: In Black and White by Claude Debussy, Gogol Suite by Alfred Schnittke, as well as three pieces from the Sketches cycle by Valery Gavrilin, for four hands. The music critique by musicologist Radoš Mitrović, in the Ars Sonora programme on RTS radio, paid tribute to the successfulness of the concert and choice of interesting and unusual repertoire. The piece that the duo performed as an encore, an excerpt from the Poem of Love ballet, by Azerbaijani composer Arif Malikov, especially thrilled the audience.
